Container gardening for perennials?

Perennial usually have a larger root system than annuals so if you're container gardening for perennial, be sure to choose a container that's large enough to give the roots enough room and avoid being root-bound.

Strategically place low voltage landscape lights on entertainment areas

The look of professional landscape lighting can easily and affordably be achieved by using low voltage landscape lighting to illuminate decks and patios. But with light come pesky bugs.

Avoid the nuisance of insects and enjoy entertaining outdoors by pointing landscape lighting away from the area that will be occupied. Low voltage landscape lights will put off plenty of illumination without shining directly on your deck or patio if strategically placed.

Avoid installing lawn edging products after excessive rain

Hold off on installing plastic edging or metal edging after excessive rain until the ground dries. Excessive rain causes the ground to swell with moisture and the lawn edging products you install may shift once the ground dries, creating an uneven and jagged look.
